Main Street Veterinary Clinic, based in Bairnsdale, services a large region of Victoria's East Gippsland from Stratford in the west to Nowa Nowa in the east and from the high country regions of Omeo, Cobungra, Benambra and Buchan to the Gippsland Lakes and coast.
The clinic was established in 1979 with a single vet, and has since grown to a practice with 17 employees including 7 vets. The new purpose built clinic is located opposite to the clinic's original location, in the main street of Bairnsdale.
We aim to be your "one stop shop" for all your animal health needs. We provide all of the veterinary services you would expect in a large, well equipped and professional practice, including general medicine, advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, anaesthesia, radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, dentistry, pathology and pharmacy.
We also provide herd health, production and performance advice and services for the equine and farm livestock industries.
We have a well stocked shop front supplying premium pet and animal health products including grooming aids, shampoos, flea and tick control products, heartworm and worming medications, collars, leads, training aids and premium pet foods.
The Main Street Veterinary Clinic has 7 full-time and 2 part-time veterinarians with a total of 139 years of veterinary practice experience. We also have 9 members of our enthusiastic and compassionate veterinary nursing team who help us achieve the highest quality veterinary care and personal attention for our patients. We are all genuinely committed to helping your pets live a happy, long and healthy life.
